English language courses for all ages at a well established, family-run English school in Jersey.
St Brelade's College is a British Council accredited English school, established in 1978 on the beautiful island of Jersey. We offer junior and adult English courses, along with accommodation in homestay or student residences.
Adults and juniors alike can study a variety of English courses at the school. As well as the classic general English programmes, various English Plus programmes are also available. 50+ courses are available during most months of the year, incorporating themes such as heritage, walking, food tasting, flora & fauna. English plus golf is also available to adults. For teenagers, English & surfing and English & adventure sports courses are also available during the summer.
Afternoon activities & excursions are included as part of both the adult & junior programmes. These include water sports, beach visits, walks, visits to castles & the zoo and indoor sports.
Homestay and residential accommodation for adults & juniors are available and the school can also recommend guest houses or hotels in the area. Families can also stay together in our main residence in St Aubin.

Adult Intensive English course review
I spent one week at St Brelade's College in Jersey and it was highly satisfying: the courses were adapted to the student's level, were complete and interesting. I had different teachers during my intensive courses, they were complementary and had good teaching skills. In addition, many social events were organized: it was also a nice way to improve my English.
Standard adult English course review
My first time at St Brelade's College was so profitable that I have been back there several times. The distribution of the students into classes was cleverly made, so that I could efficiently learn along with other people who shared a comparable level in English. The teachers were very careful to adapt their lessons to every student's needs and expectations, which I appreciated, especially in business classes. I enjoyed the social programme of the school which gave me good opportunities to practise my English. I learned a lot about the British habits and culture as the teachers who took part in the social events were keen on sharing their knowledge and answering my questions. All the whole staff of the school were also very helpful with practical matters in or out of the school. For all these reasons the few weeks I spent at St Brelade's College and in Jersey were of great benefit and I now feel much more confident when I speak English.
Summer holiday course review
I enjoyed my stay in Jersey! I was in a family with two boys who were between 10 and 14 years old, one Spanish and one Swiss. In the mornings we had lessons and games in English and after the lunch we choose activities which we wanted to do in the afternoon. There was a lot of choice like bowling, beach, tennis, wind surfing and more! And the evening we were in the family for the dinner so it was perfect for improve our English! For me, it was a very good idea to go to St Brelade's College because there is a very friendly atmosphere and it was perfect to learn English without stress.
General English & exam course review
I studied for around four months at St Brelade's College. I started on the General English course then I decided to do the Cambridge English course. Both courses were great and very well structured. Not only were the teachers very friendly and funny, the organisation and the feeling after the class were also very warm. I would definitely go back to the school.
Junior holiday course review
Our boys (12 and 13 years old) will enjoy the lessons at St Brelade's College for the third time this summer. I didn't have a chance in convincing them of another destination, because everything is perfectly organised and we couldn't compete with their friendly hosts. The teachers provide engaging and interesting classes and the outstanding afternoon activities, like boat trips contribute to their unique stay on this lovely island.
